Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.

Manuscript Types

  • Research Articles: Full-length original research (5,000–8,000 words)
  • Systematic Reviews / Meta-Analyses: Comprehensive literature reviews (5,000–9,000 words)
  • Brief Communications: Short research reports (2,000–3,500 words)
  • Educational Commentaries: Opinion and perspective pieces (1,500–3,000 words)

Manuscript Preparation

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in English (or Bahasa Indonesia for selected sections).
  • File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, 1.5 line spacing, A4 paper, 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
  • Abstract: All articles must include a structured abstract of 150–250 words with keywords (3–6 terms).
  • References: Authors should follow the APA 7th edition citation style. References should be listed at the end of the manuscript.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online via the PITUDUH journal management system. Authors are required to register and log in before submitting. All correspondence, including notification of the editor's decision and requests for revision, will be made by email.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

PITUDUH is an open-access journal. There is no submission fee. However, an Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply upon acceptance to cover publication costs. Authors will be notified of any applicable fees during the review process.

Ethical Approval

Research involving human participants must include a statement confirming that informed consent was obtained and that the study was approved by an appropriate ethics committee.
