Publication Frequency

CRITA: Journal of Contemporary Approaches in Researching Indonesian Texts and Arts is published biannually, with issues released in June and December of each year. The journal follows a structured publication schedule to ensure timely dissemination of scholarly research.

Publication Schedule

Issue Publication Month Submission Deadline
Issue 1 (Volume X) June April 30
Issue 2 (Volume X) December October 31

Article Publication

CRITA Journal practices Online First (Article in Press) publication, whereby accepted and fully processed articles are made available online prior to the formal issue publication date. This ensures that research findings are accessible to the scholarly community at the earliest possible opportunity, minimizing delays between acceptance and public availability.

Volume and Issue Information

Each volume of CRITA corresponds to one calendar year and contains two issues. Each issue typically contains 5 to 10 original research articles. The journal does not publish special issues unless specifically announced by the editorial board. All published articles are assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref for persistent identification and citation tracking.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts well in advance of the deadline to allow sufficient time for the peer review process. The average review-to-publication timeline is approximately 8 to 12 weeks from the date of submission.
