Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to Jengkol: Journal of Early Childhood, Innovation, Knowledge, and Learning must be original work that has not been previously published, and must be written in Indonesian or English. Manuscripts should follow the journal's official template (IMRaD format: Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion), be 4,000–8,000 words in length, and include an abstract and keywords. Citations and references must follow the APA 7th Edition style. Manuscripts are submitted through the OJS system under the Online Submissions menu after the author has registered as an Author.

Manuscript Structure

• Title (maximum 15 words, reflecting the content of the article)
• Author names and full affiliations, without academic titles
• Abstract (150–250 words) in both Indonesian and English
• Keywords (3–5 words or phrases)
• Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion
• Acknowledgements (if any)
• References (minimum 20 references, 80% from journals published within the last 10 years)

Formatting Requirements

Manuscripts must be typed on A4 paper with 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman 12pt, and 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Tables and figures must be titled, numbered sequentially, and referred to in the text.

Submission Process

Authors are required to register as an Author through the OJS registration page, then upload the manuscript together with a statement of originality (cover letter) under the Submissions menu.
