About the Journal

CRITA: Journal of Contemporary Approaches in Researching Indonesian Texts and Arts is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to publishing original, high-quality scholarly research on Indonesian texts, narratives, literature, oral traditions, performing arts, and visual arts. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of humanities, cultural studies, and digital technology. CRITA is committed to advancing the scholarly discourse on Indonesian literary and artistic heritage by providing a rigorous and transparent publication process that meets international academic standards. The journal is published biannually (June and December) by LPPM Edupena and is indexed in reputable databases including Google Scholar, Garuda (Kemdikbud RI), and Crossref.
